Perry Hampel

Perry Hampel was born and raised near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.  He played minor hockey in the Upper Ottawa Valley Hockey Association and junior hockey with the Pembroke Lumber Kings and the Thunder Bay Flyers.

Perry is now employed by the City of Albuquerque and enjoys bowling in his spare time. Bowling involvement also includes coaching Special Olympics and head coach for the Volcano Vista High School bowling team.

Perry is looking forward to climbing into the "Sadddle" (aka the broadcast booth) to do the play-by-play of the New Mexico Renegades and bringing their exciting brand of hockey to the listening audience.

Perry is very proud of his family; wife Arthana and children Jennifer and Sara Hampel and Ashley and Brittany Leiby.
