New Mexico Renegades

As most of you are aware and for those of you who are not, the Rio Rancho Blade's Center is home to a Junior "A" Hockey team, THE NEW MEXICO RENEGADES. The New Mexico Renegades play in the Junior "A" Western States Hockey League (WSHL). The WSHL is comprised of teams from California, Idaho, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Texas, Colorado and of course your very own state of New Mexico. Players that participate in this league range in the age from 16 to 20 years old. These players come from all over the world in the hopes of taking their hockey careers to the next level. Whether that be the college ranks (NCAA Div I, II, III), the USHL, NAHL, Major Jr's or minor league pro hockey, there is one common goal and that is to play the game they have grown to love at the highest level possible.

Your very own NEW MEXICO RENEGADES are in need of Billet Families for this season. This is the third season thet New Mexico Renegades had been in the Rio Rancho area. With New Ownership (Revolution Sports Management) and Management in place this season the program will only continue to grow. Head Coach and General Manager Michael Gershon originally from New Jersey is bring a tremendous resume' to the Rio Rancho area and is already starting to attract players from all over North America and Europe. Some of these young men will need a place to call home during the season. Whether you are a hockey fan or not, what a better way is there to help a young man achieve his goals than by being a Billet Family.
